When teleporting your Worms in at the start of a game try not to spread them around too much.
If your opponent has spread his team members around the landscape, try to teleport all your Worms close to a lone opponent.
This way you get a fair few number of turns near this enemy Worm, constantly bashing him with all you've got.
As his energy is depleting, start to spread out making sure the enemy Worm can be brought to an end while your almost untouched team look for the next victim.

Its worth keeping a Teleport in the bank just in case the problem of being outnumbered occurs I.e three enemy Worms to your one. Run him away and try and get a different angle on the battle.
